BECOME WHAT YOU WANT
FROM YOUR PARTNER

BECOME THE PERSON YOU WISH
YOUR CHILD WOULD BE

IT ALL STARTS WITH YOU

DO THE WORK ON THE INSIDE
AND WATCH THE OUTSIDE DO THE SAME

Self care is gentle, it’s fun, it’s kind.  It is listneing to your body and honoring it.  You want to go for a walk, walk.  You want to have a glass of wine, have one.  Listen to whatyou body is telling you. If yoga, meditating, or writing endlessly in your journal about your woes isn’t your thing, don’t do it. It won’t work.

Self-care only works when you listen to your body, and do what you want without resistance. So if I randomly feel like reading a few pages of a fictional novel or walking my dog, I do it. I don’t push it aside or promise myself I’ll do it later, I do it right then.

You not only will feel less stress, but your body will feel better. When you don’t take the time to check into your body, you don’t notice that your body may be starting to flare up with pain or stress. Taking a moment to check in, and 60 seconds to do something that feels good to your body is a great way to practice self-care. You will experience a sense of freedom, which produces a better emotional and mental state.

Start by giving yourself a 60 second break three times a day. You will see a difference.

People who neglect their own needs and forget to nurture themselves are at danger of deeper levels of unhappiness, low self-esteem, and feelings of resentment.

Get enough sleep. Do things that bring you joy. Move your body (walking outdoors is great!). Have time alone.Touch. Tenderness. Compassionate Self – Forgiveness. Healthy diet.Quiet your mind. It is all delicious and we will explore it all!
