Our Job Is To Remember

When we are born, we are pure love- perfect and whole made in the likeness of God.

For the first few weeks, we smile up at the ceiling seeing our angels & soul brothers and sisters and giggle.

Then humanity kicks in and begins covering us. We get layered with neglect, shame, judgment, abuse, coarse words, etc.

We grow up not sure who we are or why we are here.

It is our job to get woke. To stand up with childlike curiosity and explore what the hell is happening.

It is our job to take the stupid lies we are holding in our minds through thoughts and feelings and put them in check.

The painful situation is no longer happening. Why are we continuing to suffering over something that happened 20 or 40 years ago?

See every “good” or “bad” life event as a part of your tapestry. It’s all necessary for our learning, growing, evolving, and loving.

My mother neglected me and my 7 yr.-old-mind concluded I didn’t matter. My healed adult spiritual mind now knows that she did her job so perfectly to set me on the path of reminding myself and others You Are Not Alone.

Without her neglect, I would not be the open-minded, kind-hearted, service-driven person I am.

I moved from ‘my mother screwed me up’ to ‘my mother laid in bed and sacrificed her life to set me on my path of helping others’.

Wow! She loved me THAT much. I am a lucky duck to have had her as my mother.

The cool thing is I realized this before she died and was able to verbalize this to her on her deathbed. I thanked her for everything she did.

When I shared this she said, “You are my angel. You are my sister.” And in that moment I was.

We are all doing the best we can where we are. I love that!

Wake up. Heal your thoughts and feelings. They are from the past and are keeping you in prison. Free yourself. Allow yourself to experience the present moment. It’s always fresh and clean. It’s the only place life is happening.

In the present moment we are safe, okay, and loved. I want to hang out there.
